Victoria Kennefick’s second collection Egg/Shell (Carcanet Press, 2024) was a Poetry Book Society Choice for Spring 2024. Her debut collection, Eat or We Both Starve (Carcanet Press, 2021), won the Seamus Heaney First Collection Poetry Prize and the Dalkey Book Festival Emerging Writer of the Year Award. It was shortlisted for the T.S. Eliot Prize, the Costa Poetry Book Award, the Derek Walcott Poetry Prize and the Butler Literary Prize. She was UCD/Arts Council of Ireland Writer-in-Residence 2023 and is Poet-in-Residence at Yeats Society Sligo 2022-2024. She has been appointed Cork County Council Writer-in-Residence for 2024.

Sue Burge is a freelance creative writing and film-studies tutor, writing mentor and editor based in North Norfolk.  Her poems have been published in a wide range of journals and have featured in themed anthologies on science fiction, modern Gothic, illness, Britishness, endangered birds, WWI and the pandemic.  Sue’s three poetry collections are: In the Kingdom of ShadowsConfetti Dancers and The Artificial Parisienne (Live Canon); her two pamphlets are Lumière and The Saltwater Diaries (Hedgehog Poetry Press).  www.sueburge.uk
