Sean O’Brien’s most recent collection The Beautiful Librarians (Picador 2015), was a PBS Choice, shortlisted for the T.S. Eliot Prize and joint winner of the Roehampton Prize. In 2016 the first two cantos of Hammersmith were published by Hercules Editions. The complete book-length Hammersmith is to be published by Picador, who in 2016 also published his second novel, Once Again Assembled Here. Sean is Professor of Creative Writing at Newcastle University.




Sue Burge is a freelance creative writing and film studies tutor based in King’s Lynn.  Last year she received an Arts Council Grant to write a body of poetry celebrating the cinematic and literary legacy of Paris.  Her poems have appeared in many journals, anthologies, magazines and on-line publications such as The North, Mslexia, The Lampeter Review, Stride, Cake, Lighthouse, Ink, Sweat and Tears, Brittle Star, Cake and Orbis.  Sue was longlisted in both the 2016 National Poetry Competition and the 2017 Fish Poetry Prize.  More information at
